Open Source PBX Platform for VoIP

Asterisk is nothing new, however being open source  continues to evolve to meet the times. Infonetics research back in 2015 shows several statistics that proves soft PBX are replacing traditional systems. Financial data from the same research shows an upward trend, the same goes for subscriber membership and end-user usage. There are plenty of platforms that could implement a VoIP PBX solution, but none of them is open-source with a mature community that Asterisk brings to the table. The article talks about why IT professionals and senior managers should consider using an Asterisk solution for their PBX systems.
